Last Updated: October 14, 2026
1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
K-Method Training Group, Inc. (“K-Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates WorkCertified, the K-Method Success Academy, and related training websites, learning platforms, courses, events, and communications, including spb.workcertified.com, workcertified.com, and kmethod.com (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Programs offered through an organization. Many learners access the Services through an employer, workforce board, nonprofit, school, or other organization (a “Sponsoring Organization”). When you enroll through a Sponsoring Organization, we process your information to deliver the program on that organization’s behalf, and that organization’s own privacy practices also apply to the information it receives. Questions about how a Sponsoring Organization uses your information should go to that organization.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing and billing address, username, password, and date of birth or age range.
- Program and enrollment information: the programs you enroll in, your Sponsoring Organization (if any), and information you provide in applications, intake forms, or surveys, such as employment goals, work history, or education level.
- Learning records: course progress, quiz and assessment results, assignments, certificates earned, and coaching notes.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may keep the card type, last four digits, and expiration date to manage recurring billing and to notify you before a card expires.
- Communications and content: messages, support requests, feedback, testimonials, and anything you post in forums, comments, or community areas.
- Event information: registration details, attendance, and, where you choose to provide it, dietary or accessibility needs.
Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, links clicked, login times, course activity, and referring websites. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Information from others: Sponsoring Organizations may provide your name, contact details, and program eligibility to enroll you. Payment processors confirm whether a payment succeeded. Service providers may give us information that helps us operate the Services.
3. How We Use Information

- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send receipts and billing notices;

- To provide customer support and respond to requests;
- To send service messages, such as account notices, course reminders, and policy updates;
- To send marketing about our programs, where permitted by law and subject to your choices;
- To improve, personalize, secure, and troubleshoot the Services, and to develop new programs;
- To prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access, and to enforce our terms; and
- To comply with legal obligations and grant-funded or contractual reporting requirements.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, learning-management, payment processing, email and text delivery, video, analytics, and customer support providers. They may use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
- Sponsoring Organizations, which receive enrollment, attendance, progress, assessment, and completion information about learners they sponsor. They may use it for program management and for reporting required by their funders or by law.
- Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of K-Method, our users, or others.

- With your consent or at your direction, such as when you ask us to share a certificate with a prospective employer.
We use advertising cookies and pixels, such as [Meta Pixel, Google Ads], to measure and personalize ads. You can opt out as described in Section 5. We do not use these tools on pages intended for learners under 18.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and shopping-cart contents, measure how the Services are used, and secure the Services. Some are set by third parties, such as [Google Analytics] and our payment and video providers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Services, such as login and checkout, may not work without them. [If Option B: “Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of targeted advertising.”]
6. Email and Text Messages
Email: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each message. We will still send service messages related to your account, purchases, or enrolled programs.
Text messages: If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive recurring messages from K-Method about [course reminders, events, and offers] at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools
We may use AI-enabled tools to support learning and service, such as practice coaching, content recommendations, transcription, or answering support questions. Information you enter into these tools is processed by our service providers under contracts that limit how they may use it. We do not use AI tools to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, such as employment or credential eligibility, without human review. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into AI tools.
8. Children and Minors
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must be at least [16] years old. Users under 18 may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, or through a Sponsoring Organization that has obtained any required consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents and guardians who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at the address below.
9. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to deliver programs, maintain learning and certificate records, meet Sponsoring Organization and funder reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with law. In general, we keep account and learning records for [4] years after your last activity and billing records for [7] years, then delete or de-identify them. Certificate verification records may be kept longer so that credentials can be confirmed.
10. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and payment processing by PCI-DSS–compliant providers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including Florida’s Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171).
11. Your Choices and Rights
All users may request to:
- Access the personal information we hold about them;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete their information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements;
- Receive a portable copy of their information; and
- Opt out of marketing communications.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising or to appeal our decision on your request. We will honor those rights where they apply to us. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 16. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law, generally within 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you enrolled through a Sponsoring Organization, some requests, such as deleting records the organization must keep, may need to go through that organization. We will help coordinate.
12. Public Areas
Anything you post in forums, comments, community areas, or public profiles can be seen by others and is not private. Do not post sensitive personal information in these areas.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and tools, such as video platforms, payment pages, or social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
14. Users Outside the United States
K-Method is based in the United States, and the Services are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Services before they take effect.
